Airport transfers from Pocklington

Humberside Airport is the closest — around 45 minutes down the A1079 and A164. Leeds Bradford is roughly 1 hour 15 via the A64 and A658. Manchester Airport is around 2 hours via the M62 in a good run. Doncaster Sheffield sits about 1 hour 15 down the A1(M).

For London airports, allow around 4 hours to Heathrow, 4.5 hours to Gatwick, and 3.5 hours each for Stansted and Luton. Newcastle is 2 hours up the A19; Birmingham is 3 hours down the A1(M) and M42; East Midlands is around 2 hours 15.

Guy plans overnight and early-morning runs around Yorkshire's usual pinch points — the A64 out of York, the M62 tailback west of Leeds, and the A1(M) roadworks around Doncaster.
