Wedding transport & guest shuttles

For most East Yorkshire weddings the transport falls into three jobs: getting guests from the hotel to the venue in the morning, moving between ceremony and reception if they're at different addresses, and running people back to hotels and villages at the end of the night.

Guy will typically build a mini-schedule with the couple a few weeks out — pickup times, phone numbers and a WhatsApp thread with the wedding co-ordinator or best man. On the day, the 8-seater runs continuously so nobody's ever left at a bus stop in a suit.

This is the bit that catches most weddings out. Rural East Yorkshire venues don't have a passing taxi at midnight, and app-based taxis rarely accept jobs to a village postcode after 11pm. Pre-booked evening shuttles back to Pocklington, Wilberfoss, Stamford Bridge, Bishop Wilton and the Wolds villages solve it entirely.

For bigger weddings Guy will co-ordinate a second vehicle so the last guests aren't waiting an hour for the shuttle to loop back around.
